Mandatory Super Bowl Hype Post
Can't say I didn't see this coming. Now that the Giants have reached the Super Bowl, an unnamed Giants player said what we're all thinking: the team is better off without Tiki Barber. I have to agree. Not that think too highly of the Giants' success, but I just think Tiki Barber is a douchebag. My friend The Great Benzino hates Eli Manning the most, but Tiki Barber is the (former) Giant that really grinds my gears. Of course the Giants are better without him. Each year, the Super Bowl features a team (or two) that has gotten hot at the end of the year and through the playoffs. You can do that without team chemistry and you can't have team chemistry with some asshole making his impending retirement bigger than the team. Hell, even scary old Tom Coughlin lightened up after Tiki left.
I'd still like to know who this unnamed player is...

This will be an extremely lopsided "Final Game to End the Season that is Really BiG". The Pats win in a romp. And take the over whatever it may be. GL and see you next season.

You may remember this douchebag from the SEA-PIT Super Bowl where he ran his mouth a lot and then failed to produce more than a large steaming turd on the field for the actual game. Douchebag Of The Week: Philip Rivers
I know a lot of people are pulling for a Chargers upset on Sunday, but it's hard to root for the Bolts when this guy is off talking shit to opposing fans after getting knocked out of the game. I think Big Daddy Drew put it best:
But the yelling at Indy fans really puts the cherry on the sundae. A QB is supposed to be the cool, calm, collected leader the team takes its cues from. But this asshole, WHO WASN'T EVEN ON THE FIELD FOR THE WINNING SCORE, spent the last few moments of the game not celebrating with teammates, but bragging about the win to a bunch of fatass Indy fans in the stands. What. A. Douche.

The Great Benzino Awakens!
After a long winter's nap and relatively successful picking of the College Exhibition games the Great Benzino has returned for the Final No Fun League games of the season. After all, he is damn near perfect in all posts picked on this site.
This week:
Pack -7.5
Reason: Farve does not lose in Prime Time. Farve does not lose at the Frozen Tundra. Farve does not lose in the playoffs. Farve does not lose.
This is my best bet of the week and you should take it to the Bank!!
JAX +13
Reason: 13 points is waaaaaay to much in a playoff game...even against the Patriots. The Jags will use their solid running game to keep the ball away from Brady and keep it close.
Colts -9
Reason: Manning wants another ring and he will win at all costs. The Chargers are soft and Harrison is back in the Line-Up where the Colts are 4-0.
Cowboys -7.5
Reason: I hate Eli Manning.

Thirsty Thursday
While there is some debate as to whether or not games shown on the NFL Network are "Prime Time" games, I have decided to pick this game regardless. I am a compulsive gambler anyway.
Tonight Big Ben finally gets away from inclement weather and throws 4 TD's. Steelers win in a romp.

Benzino's Prime Time Payout!
For those who don't already know The Great Benzino submits his picks for all (or most) Prime Time games. You will not see any Central Michigan v. Eastern Iowa games picked here. Only major games that are shown on major networks and air after 7pm.
Picks will be posted at least 1 hour before game time.
Monday Money Makers:
Bears v. Vikings 8:30 on ESPN
Pick: Bears +11
Reasons:
1. Revenge game for Bears after Vikes smoked them in previous matchup.
2. The Bears D gets even faster on turf.
3. I need Peterson to have a horrible game to advance in my FFB league.
4. Vikes are not use to PRIMETIME and will choke.....trust me.
